Cesar Marín Flores, a doctoral researcher, embarked on his role at the GIST Lab, Aalto University, in collaboration with Prof. Henrikki Tenkanen. Holding a master’s degree in Data Science from Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile, Cesar’s academic journey is dedicated to the study of urban mobility, sustainable transportation, and strategies for epidemic control. Cesar’s research primarily focuses on the MAPICO project, pioneering an innovative methodology for quantifying carbon emissions associated with daily commuting in urban areas.
